Indian Zen Ranch, 269 acres of pristine forestland and meadows, is located just 35 minutes from Weaverville, a historic community in the beautiful rural mountains of Trinity County. Owned and sensitively developed by the owner, it has been held and preserved as sacred land for over thirty years. To sit on the deck and look out over the exquisite mountain valley below is to experience a pure and natural silence. There is a stillness that holds the brilliance of the stars, unobscured by human light. As one listens to the primal language of the trees as they move and dance in the wind, and smells the sweet fragrance of the forest, one is aware that there is harmony on this land and there is reverence for all life.

views and peaceful porch time

Many an hour can be spent in comfort and conversation, just taking in the view and the quiet.  Many people have never experienced "no human noise".  It is one of the many healing things about this special place.

The entire acreage has many jeep roads and trails to make it accessible.

the main residence

The main residence is a custom tri-level pole house, with expansive decks.  This property is off the grid, and living is comfortable here.  The home is powered with solar, batteries, and generator.  Pure spring water is on a gravity fed system to the two residences and the entire 7 acre meadow.

The caretakers cabin

From the very top of the property. one can view Mt. Shasta, Mt. Lassen and the Trinity Alps.  The serenity here is well worth the 30 minute steep hike.  New access is currently being developed.
